Gillogly is a self-taught artist.  Born in the rural Indiana community of Thorntown, she learned writing and graphic design through practical application while working for the Indiana Historical Society for nearly 25 years. Upon early retirement, Pat was positioned to pursue her passion for art through graphic design, writing and technology. 

Through occasional column contributions to local newspapers, heading a local writers' workshop at the Thorntown Public Library and classes with noted watercolor artist Axie Frey, Gillogly continues to expand her artistic horizons and refine her craft.

Favorite subjects are found in nature. Central and northern Indiana are her favorite locations, with exotic sunsets, abundant woods and water, and a broad list of wild and domestic animals and birds.

Gun Dog Ranch Studio combines digital printing, branding, marketing and event planning to provide individuals and small business with branding and services often supported in-house in larger organizations.
